This happened two weeks ago. I tripped over one of the many toys in my family room and ended up putting most of my weight on my toe while it was bent under my foot. It didn't start turning colors until a week ago, and it's gotten a bit darker since then. So, the question of the day probably isn't IF I'll lose it, but when. Is it true that if you lose a nail the one that grows back is never as pretty as the one you lost? If so, I'll be devastated!
